PHARMACY OF J. GEORGILAS in Piraeus
The new pharmacy of J. Georgilas in Piraeus, is undoubtly magnetizing the gaze and admiration of passersby and customers.
The exterior is coated with specially designed white metal blades creating a shell ’embracing’ the building. The blades are painted electrostatically, bonded together in a manner that creates a contemporary architectural intervention on 2 sides of the building.
The custom-made furniture, around the staircase, allows visibility to the 1st floor and the basement, and is made of Plexi Glass. It doen’s only serve for decorative purposes, as a “lining” of the staircase, but it is mostly commercially used, for product placement.
